This site is dedicated to all those who are suffering from combat-related PTSD.

The purpose of this site is to help any veteran suffering from combat-related Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by sharing my experiences and knowledge.

I’m just another combat vet who served in Vietnam. I’ve been suffering from PTSD symptoms for most of my adult life. I had a fairly good childhood, some problems with my father, peer pressure, etc. When I turn 21, I found myself in Vietnam. My experiences in Vietnam caused my PTSD symptoms. In Vietnam; color, country of origin, or age didn’t matter; we all looked out for each other. We were all brothers and in my mind we still are.

This site is also my therapy, it helps me to help other veterans. I still have problems socializing with civilians. I only socialize with my family and other veterans. Only a combat veteran can understand my problems

My life after Vietnam was pretty good excluding the drinking and drug abuse. I went to college and built a fairly successful career for myself and my family. In 1996, it all went south. I fell into an severe depression and didn’t know why. I thought I was losing my mind, I thought I was going insane. I had nightmares about Vietnam, intrusive daydreams with crying spells, and many other problems.

The VA saved my life. I was accepted into a PTSD program and finally found peace of mind.
